My friends brought hatchets and bow-saws for their trees and worked up a sweat cutting them down. I used this handheld chain and ripped through a 6 inch tree in less than 20 seconds

This handy little tool is small and compact, but will do the job for cutting fire wood.

I have used several different designs of pocket chain saws before. There are a lot of brands that do not have cutting teeth on every link. I have tested ones with teeth every other link and as bad as every three or four links.Maybe if you don't have as much strength or practice, fewer teeth MIGHT help it catch less. MAYBE it would be a little smoother as you go back and forth. But it also cuts a whole lot slower. I would rather get more cutting with each pull, get done a lot faster and use up a lot less energy.Pocket chainsaws do work surprisingly well. They are not the easiest option to use and are supposed to be the backup. But for a compact, emergency option it does a really decent job.If you are in the market for a pocket chainsaw, this one is actually good quality. A lot of brands of "survival" or "emergency" gear are mostly peddling gimmicks. But this is good quality. I am very happy with it.

I wasn’t expecting much to be very honest but my hubby was extremely excited about it and said it works great!
